The Mantorville Theatre Company is hosting Triple Berry Pie on Saturday, January 31st at 7:00 pm. Triple Berry Pie is a trio of women in three-part harmony: Anjanette Bandel, Ruth Casper, and Karen Masbruch. They sing a variety of genres from the Andrews Sisters from the 1940's to folk music to modern day pop and rock and roll. They are accompanied by Susan Shepard on the keyboard as their "a la mode". They have been singing since 2016 and love it! The show's theme is Chase Away the Winter Blues!
The Mantorville Theatre Company is also hosting a Sweetheart Comedian Night on Saturday, February 14th at 7:00 pm. Enjoy a fun night out with your sweetheart! There will be four hilarious comedians: Lori Finlay, Cheryl Anderson, Atul Patel, and Zach Sharf. A silent auction will be held before and during the show - we have a range of exciting donations valued from $50 to $800. Silent auction items include a personal chef dinner, Mississippi cruise package, tickets to local theatres, and more! Visit our website for a full list of silent auction items: www.mantorvilletheatrecompany.com.
Both events will be held at the Mantorville Opera House: 5 5th St. West, Mantorville, MN.
Reservations can be made online at www.mantorvilletheatrecompany.com or by phone at 507-635-5420. Walk-ins are always welcome!
The Triple Berry Pie concert and Sweetheart Comedian Night are fundraising events for the Mantorville Theatre Company. We are in need of about $2,000 for the all-student summer show and each of our three family-friendly summer melodramas to be able to break even for the summer season. If we are fortunate enough to exceed these needs, we have a list of lighting equipment that we would purchase to enhance the presentation of our shows. These fundraisers will help keep our summer ticket prices down and reasonable for families.
Thank you for your continued support of MTC - we hope to see you there!
