Fifteen Fascinating CVEC Courses for Seniors this Winter

Registration starts November 25 for Cannon Valley Elder Collegium (CVEC) Winter Term courses, for participants age 50 and older. Courses focus on arts, social and physical sciences, and humanities. Instructors include college professors and community experts. CVEC participants enjoy learning and meeting new friends.

CVEC’s Winter Term starts January 6, and ends February 28. Most CVEC courses meet once a week, and run for eight sessions - for the low tuition fee of $50 (a fee which hasn’t changed in over 25 years).

Scholarships are available.

In-person classes meet at Northfield MN locations.

For over 25 years, Cannon Valley Elder Collegium (CVEC) has offered noncredit, entry-college-level courses for those age 50 and older. CVEC participants come from throughout Minnesota’s Cannon River valley region, and beyond. Classes are offered in person (typically in Northfield MN), and online via Zoom.
