Walk into Decker Power Equipment, and you will be amazed at all the big boy toys you will see! Not that us women don't love the equipment you will find in the retail part of the store, but I would guess most of Kevin's customers are guys.
Some of the equipment I noticed were lawn mowers, leaf blowers, tillers and weed whackers. Then there were snow blowers, chain saws and trimmers. And don't forget the parts and pieces for anything that runs! Then there are the Generac regular and stand by generators for when we lose power. And the D & S Lawn and garden tools and equipment. Lots to see, and so much to learn!!
And then there's Kevin. Most times when I come in to pester him about a story, he is in the back "garage", tinkering with one thing or another that a customer has dropped off for a tune up or a fix. He specializes in small engine repair, and if you ask around, he has a reputation for providing excellent service, and gets the job done.
Kevin stocks new and used equipment in the store. He also can fix just about anything. So if your machine's get up and go got up and left, he can magically bring your equipment back to life. You will find him at 810 3rd avenue in Wanamingo Tuesday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a lunch hour at noon, and Saturdays from 8 am until noon. He is closed on Sunday and Monday..
