$2.55 Million Raised, $450,000 To Go. Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity Builds HOPE Heights With $3 Million

RED WING, MN – Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity has reached a significant milestone in its HOPE Heights Capital Campaign, securing $2.55 million toward its $3 million fundraising goal to support the development of a new 26-home neighborhood on the former St. John’s Hospital site in Red Wing.

The campaign's success is possible because of the generosity of foundations, community partners and individual donors who believe that everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home.

“We’re creating stability for my family through Habitat homeownership” said Shelby, 2026 Habitat Homeowner.

HOPE Heights represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build in an established neighborhood and address the region's housing challenges. With extremely tight housing inventory, HOPE Heights will create new pathways to homeownership for local families and contribute to the long-term vitality of the community.

Once completed, HOPE Heights will feature 26 homes designed with efficiency in mind to provide hardworking families with the opportunity to create safety, stability and security through homeownership.

With less than $450,000 remaining to reach the campaign goal, Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity is inviting community members, businesses, and philanthropic partners to join this transformational effort.
