Hello everyone, sorry I missed a few months of commissioners corner. I do enjoy tearing January off of the calendar, I can’t believe it is February already. As we move forward with 2024 we start looking at our construction season and with several projects on the list we ask for your patients and understanding as we work to improve our county roads and bridges. I want to put out a thank you to all of our Township supervisors and township officers, I want to remind all of our township residents that March 12th is Township day in Minnesota. All of our townships will hold their annual meetings with some townships also holding election of officers. Please find your meeting time and consider attending. Goodhue county did have to close the demolition landfill last year and now we have a county ordinance that allows for a transfer station. We are looking at all options moving forward as to the handling of this by-pass materials. This is already my 4th year as your county commissioner and I am serving as the board Chair this year.
